It’s concrete grinding day! We rented a concrete grinder and high-powered vacuum to level and smooth our internal concrete slab because it rained right at the end of the cutting process, leaving the finish chorky, swirly and unleveled (no luck and no time for finishing). (it’s bad luck and not the right time for finishing)
We wanted to seal the concrete because it’s a work shed, so there will be a lot of mess, grease, dirt and dust on the floor. To ensure a good bond with the sealant, it is therefore strongly recommended to prepare the concrete by squaring it.
High-power electrical equipment requires a lot of electricity. One task turned into the installation of additional solar panels on the upper roof so that our solar system could cope with what we were going to endure over the next two days.
We were pleased with how the solar system worked considering the very cloudy weather during the grinder rental and the concrete was as good as we could get without being too pedantic. (tagsTranslate)solar system
