Elk hunting with a bow has arrived! September, elk roaring, backcountry hunting, bowhunting – it’s all here! Join me on my first elk hunt of the season on public lands and in the backcountry! There were a lot of ups and downs along the way. Anyone who has ever bow hunted elk on public land knows what I’m talking about. The first day of archery elk season got off to a slow start… a few people bugling, no real elk and legs tired from walking lol. But that’s what bowhunting is all about! Good luck to all those in search of these amazing creatures. I look forward to sharing my hunting adventures with you this season! Stay tuned for a fall/winter filled with elk, deer, bear, upland, waterfowl, small game and more.
