Wildlife OnVideo Grizzly family eating berries in Jasper National Park
Grizzlies have a very varied diet. They can eat seeds, berries, roots, herbs, mushrooms, deer, elk, fish, dead animals and insects. In July and August, the bears in privileged regions can rely on ripening berries as their main source of food. As late summer and early autumn approach, grizzlies enter a state called “hyperphagia”, which corresponds to a 2-4 month period during which they intensify their caloric intake in order to gain weight more quickly before winter denning.Learn more about grizzlies in the Canadian Rockies…https://www.jasperwildlife.com/Grizzly-Brown-Bear-Jasper-Wildlife.htmlS subscribe to our channelhttps://www.youtube.com/c/WildlifeOnVideo?sub_confirmation=1► Visit the Canadian Rockies!!https://www.tourcanadianrockies.com#wildlifeonvideo #grizzlybear #nature
