Every year at rutting time, I’m on the road, heading for different states in the Midwest. This year was no different. After passing a very nice buck in Illinois, hunting became difficult, so Kyle and I packed up and decided to take our chances in Kansas. Kansas is one of my favorite places to hunt, and if you time it right, it’s one of the best places to use your calling tactics to attract bucks.
