Underwater hunting is the most sustainable and ethical form of fishing. Fish caught snorkeling with a harpoon, pole or Hawaiian sling are fish, lobsters and other ocean delicacies that have already reached maturity and had a chance to reproduce. At a time when commercial fishing nets are depleting our oceans’ fish stocks, underwater snorkeling is a sustainable way to renew fish populations. Spearfishing, snorkeling and scuba diving in search of seafood are among the most dangerous lifestyles. Spearfishing and snorkeling are more than just hobbies, they’re a way of life for many.
