Have you ever seen THREE moose go head-to-head?

Welcome to Moose & Coffee! We shared parts 1, 2 and 3 of the 2023 rut start action. Today we’ll finish with Part 4.

It’s rare to see three males competing against each other.

This has only happened to us a few times in eight years! It’s been a fantastic day in the Alaskan woods, and we’re happy to share it with you today.

Flat Top was shedding his velvet and minding his own business, while Dagger was bone-white and ready for battle. And of course, little BB (explanation of name to come) was in the middle of it all. Let’s sit back and enjoy this beautiful video. Elks are so much fun and fascinating to observe and study! Hint… there will be a video explaining its name.

Today is the second week of the Tract Optics/MooseMan contest, and there will be clues in the five videos that will be part of the competition. Have fun, and the third week of the Tract Optics competition takes place next Saturday. Don’t forget to follow us for your chance to win!

Thank you for watching our channel. We’re the husband/wife team of Rick and Libby Libbey (Libby squared), New Hampshire (and part-time Alaskan) wildlife photographers. In New Hampshire, we spend many of our spring and summer kayaking hours photographing loons and elk in New Hampshire waters. In autumn, we travel many miles in Alaska in search of all kinds of wildlife.
