It’s training for the real thing!
Welcome to Moose & Coffee Moose Rut 2023. You’ve seen parts 1 and 2 of the “Early Action Moose Rut 2023″ series. There were so many images from that day that we had to divide them into four parts. Today we present part three, featuring Dagger, Flat Top and a newcomer we call BB. The origin of its name will be revealed in a future video. (There have to be surprises, you know, lol).

It’s always a pleasure to see the older bulls mentoring the younger ones, and from past years’ experience, we also know that youngsters having fun with the older bulls will be aggressively chased away 10 days later.
As for the bulls we saw last year and couldn’t find this year, here’s the list. Curly, Van Gogh, 22, Boris, Left Hook, Spike, Imposter, and of course Grumpy. We’re grateful for all these experiences and look forward to new adventures around the next corner.
