Clay Hayes Hunter Traditional bow hunting Catching and cooking in deep snow NO SHELTER
This week, I’m heading to the mountains for a night of traditional bowhunting with catch-and-bake and solo camping in deep snow. I want to try out the Siberian wood fire, so I only bring my sleeping bag and mattress. As I have no shelter and the temperature is well below freezing, I build a bed of conifer branches to sleep on. Although this is not a video learning curve, I’m sure you’ll find some cold-weather camping and winter crafting tips in this winter survival video. If there’s enough interest, I’ll be making more videos about camping in the snow this winter. Overall, I was impressed with the performance of the Siberian wood fire. It burned for about 15 hours and gave off enough heat to keep me warm all night. Don’t forget to subscribe to the channel. Every week we upload a new video on one of the following topics: archery, bow hunting, bow making, survival techniques, bushcraft, self-reliance, primitive techniques, primitive bows, hunting, camping, fishingSurviving alone by Clay Hayes – https://amzn.to/3Qqou3lUn Many thanks to our partners who help us fund these videos! We make the best traditional archery, bow making, recurve hunting, craftsmanship and survival videos on the web. Join Clay, Liz and the kids on their outdoor adventures, from bowhunting deer and elk in the mountains of Idaho to hunting wild hogs in Florida, and practicing crafts and survival skills. We hunt and fish because we love it, but it’s also how we get most of our meat. Hunting is our way of life. We also cultivate a large garden on our Idaho property. This, combined with hunting, fishing and gathering, is how we obtain most of our food.
